When I started law school 4 years ago I knew that I had to make a lot of sacrifices but I always hoped that music wouldn’t be one of them. While I was able to play every once in a while, it wasn’t as much as I had hoped. Now that law school is finally behind me it’s time to get back out there and line up some gigs. Before I do that, I have to record a few new songs. I plan on doing this with some friends soon!
But until then, here are some pictures from the past few weeks…
A few days after the bar exam I saw Coldplay at the TD Garden in Boston. They gave everyone wrist bands that lit up. When they came on, the entire audience was part of the lights for the show. It was really cool…

In early August I spent ten days back in my hometown of Southampton, NY. I spent most of my time at the beach bird-watching. I was awesome at being retired…

As of today I started recording acoustic guitar parts for a new song. To the right is a picture of one of the two Audio Technica ATM-450′s I am using. One mic is placed directly to the front of the guitar’s 12th fret, and the other mic is over my right shoulder as I play. The two mic’s blend or pan out in the mix for a really natural sounding acoustic guitar tone. I will be posting new music soon so stay tuned!
