Mic City SonS, a Somerville, MA based rock band recently released its first album, “The December EP…” The EP is built around the acoustic guitar with textures of lap steel, harmonica, accordion, organ and electric guitars and was inspired by artists like Tom Petty, Calexico, Pete Yorn, The Black Keys, and Elliott Smith.
MIC CITY SONS is James Topping (Lead Vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Lap Steel, Harmonica, Accordion, Trumpet), Andrew Burek (Lead Guitar, Vocals), and Mathew Beausoleil (Bass Guitar, Vocals). The three met while attending law school in Boston and are joined on the EP by Berklee alum Corey Schreppel (drums, production, mix, mastering).
MIC CITY SONS can be found playing in the Boston/Cambridge/Somerville area. The December EP is available on iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Spotify, and most other online music retailers. Regular updates from the band can be found on facebook and twitter.
